Jane Walkup, Early Arts Consultant and former atelierista at a local Reggio-based preschool, shares her experiences working in the Reggio way to support the imagination and creativity of every child.
Session 2: Literature-Based Art Experiences - The PAL Model
The Preschool Arts Lab (PAL), a program of Charlotte’s Community School of the Arts, exists to facilitate the creative development of young children through participation in developmentally appropriate, literature-based art experiences. PAL lead teacher, Christi Millidge, shares strategies for planning, implementing and evaluating literature-based art experiences.
Participants will receive 3 hours of professional development credit.
